Depew, Lancaster & Western Lancaster Industrial Track Improvement Towns of Cheektowaga and Lancaster, and Villages of Depew and Lancaster, Erie County Track Improvements
The Erie County Industrial Development Agency (“ECIDA”), acting as Project Administrator is seeking qualified firms for engineering/construction administration services. Proposals are being solicited from Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms experienced in railroad engineering and design work to provide design/engineering/construction administration services for the safety and efficiency improvements project to the Depew, Lancaster & Western Lancaster Railroad (DL&W). This project will restore a State of Good repair to Lancaster’s IT by removing an obsolete bridge and performing necessary track and bridge rehabilitation between mileposts 382.5 and 385.6 in the Towns of Cheektowaga and Lancaster in Erie County.
Proposals are to include the Rate Schedule in a separate sealed envelope.
Bids are due in person at ECIDA 95 Perry Street, Suite 403 Buffalo, NY 14203 by March 19, 2024 at 1:30 PM. Please submit all questions in writing to tjohnson-huff@ecidany.com by March 15, 2024.

Engineering Service Request for Proposal
The Buffalo and Erie County Industrial Land Development Corporation (ILDC) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide documents (Engineer’s Report, Design Plans, and Specifications) along with construction administration and engineer services during construction for work on the Erie County Agribusiness Park. This project will include design of the phase 1 road, resulting in the new road connection to Eden Evans Center Road as well as the demolition of four one-story metal hangar buildings. The project will aid in the redevelopment of a 242-acre former airport and surrounding acreage, located at 1526 Eden Evans Center Road in the Town of Evans, into a site for agriculturally related commercial and light industrial uses.

Engineering Services
The Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA) is seeking Proposals from Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Firms, experienced in railroad engineering and design work. Firms are to provide Design/Engineering and Construction Administration services for the safety and efficiency improvements to the Buffalo Southern Railroad, (BSOR). This project will restore a State of Good Repair to five (5) bridges and 7-miles of track on the Buffalo Southern Railroad by replacing failing timber bridge decks, replacing missing stone ballast, and restoring 7-miles of rail. Firms responding to this RFP should have expertise in designing repairs for railroad bridges and have experience rating railroad bridge structures.
