NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARING AND EXTENDED WRITTEN COMMENT PERIOD

            Pursuant to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and 6 NYCRR Part 617 (“SEQRA”), the Buffalo and Erie County Industrial Land Development Corporation (the “ILDC”) has rescheduled its public hearing to be now held on February 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the regarding the preparation of a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (“DGEIS”) to assess the potential significant adverse environmental impacts related to the adoption and implementation of a master plan for the development of approximately 242.03 acres of land located at 1526 Eden Evans Center Road in the Town of Evans, County of Erie, which was the former site of the Evans-Angola Airport, into an agricultural-business park for future agricultural related businesses.

A representative of the ILDC will be present at the above-stated time and place to present a copy of the DGEIS and hear and accept written and oral comments on the DGEIS from all persons.  Persons may also participate in the public hearing through webinar by clicking at the link https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84648238484 at the start of the hearing.  Written comments on the DGEIS will now be accepted through March 4, 2024 by the ILDC and may be submitted at this public hearing, on the Agency’s website at www.ecidany.com, and/or delivered to the ILDC at 95 Perry Street, Suite 403, Buffalo, NY 14203 until the comment period closes.  The DGEIS is available for public inspection at the Agency’s offices Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays) from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and can be accessed online at www.ecidany.com/agpark.

This rescheduled public hearing is being conducted in accordance with 6 NYCRR § 617.9(a)(4)(ii) of the SEQRA regulations.
