As Director of Operations, Soma oversees the Agency’s tax incentive and bond programs, project closings, and compliance activities that support economic development throughout Erie County. She joined ECIDA in 2022 as Compliance Portfolio Manager, where she managed the Agency’s tax incentive portfolio and compliance functions.

Prior to joining the ECIDA, Soma served as a Program and Finance Associate in the University at Buffalo’s Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships Department, where she provided administrative and financial support for several economic development initiatives.

Soma received her MA degree in Political Science from the University at Buffalo.
