A gathering of inventors, patent attorneys, business leaders, academics and venture capitalists is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This one day conference is open to the public at no cost. The colloquium will feature sessions on the legal cautions, processes and details on achieving patents along with a focus on the necessary business practices needed to convert a patent into financial gain. The day will close with five entrepreneurs presenting their patent and business ideas to a panel of venture capitalists.
