A plan to breathe new life into a Buffalo brownfield is moving right along.

Wednesday night the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation hosted a third public meeting on a master plan for the old Republic Steel site. The BUDC has been working with consultants and neighbors to ready this land for the future home of the Riverbend Commerce Park.

BUDC President Peter Cammarata said, "We've included the neighborhood groups in this process from the beginning because it's important to blend this development into the neighborhood and actually give the neighbors access to the Buffalo River, which they really have not had before."

The 200 acre site will eventually include streets, pathways and parkways.
