Ship Canal Commons

Ship Canal Commons is a transformative project not only for those located within the Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park (BLCP), but also for residents of the City of Buffalo. The planning of the park was focused on four important goals; recreational access, historical authenticity, ecological restoration and visual enhancement. Planning and design for the Commons began in 2007, with an initial groundbreaking occurring in April 2010. The project was completecd in the fall of 2011.
